Hello, The U.S. will soon stop enforcing travel restrictions to Cuba, and if you would like to visit the island, to get off the common tourist trail, I have friends in Cuba who are ready, willing and eager to help you. If you visit this site regularly, you know that, for years, I’ve been taking baseball gear and other supplies to kids in Cuba, and that I am also very involved with Cuba’s Freemasons, and the charities the Grand Lodge of Havana supports. On a recent visit, my Cuban friends and I discussed establishing a small, dependable guide agency that would mutually benefit U.S. travelers and my Cuban pals (an interesting group of professionals who are first rate people in every way). You, the traveler, would benefit from having an arrivial-to-departure guide, as well as the security of a strong dependable network of friends. My Cuban friends would benefit by being assured a first class Doc Ford-oriented clientele. We will begin scheduling tours, on an individual bases, when the necessary legislation has passed, or when the Department of Treasury announces that current restrictions will not be enforced. He will give a brief talk and take questions promptly at Noon, and sign until 2 p.m. He will give a second talk at 4 p.m. and sign books until 6 p.m. Books will be available for sale.
